I’m not sure what I expected from a sex club. Whips and chains hanging from the walls? Dungeon bars on the windows? Pounding bass and fountains of flavored lube? Club Sin is nothing like that.

It’s tucked away in a warehouse, so innocuous from the outside that I would have walked straight past it if Max didn’t steer me inside. Instead, I stumble through the doorway, teetering in my strappy heels, and feel my cheeks flush immediately from the cozy warmth and soft lighting. Ronan slides my coat off my shoulders and I stand there like an idiot, barely helping, staring wide-eyed at the antique bar and the couches scattered around low tables throughout the room.

It’s classy. Elegant. And weirdly comfortable…

In a thrilling kind of way.

Because there’s no getting away from the fact that everyone’s here for one reason. Sex. It charges the air in the room, adds an edge to the hum of conversation and gentle, pulsing music as beautifully dressed people sip drinks and lounge at the tables.

One woman sits in a man’s lap. Another leans over the back of a couch, nibbling on a silver-haired gentleman’s ear.

People circle the room, sipping drinks and eyeing the other guests, and as I watch, a group of three men and one woman stand together and leave down a corridor. One man places a hand against the woman’s back, while another catches her hand and kisses her knuckles.

God, I want that so badly. All three of my bodyguards, agreeing to share me. Even liking it. Is it possible?

Apparently. That other group looks pretty cozy. I watch them until they slip out of sight, my stomach churning.

“One drink.” Ronan’s gruff voice cuts through my daze. I blink and peer up at him—my mountain of a bodyguard. My neck twinges, he’s so big, even when he leads us across the room and leans one elbow on the bar. “Nothing strong,” he adds. “And only a few sips. I want clear heads all around, understood?”

The rest of us murmur our agreement, and I crowd close to Dima as the others place our order. His solid warmth against my side is an anchor. I lean harder against him, so hard I can feel his heart thumping against my shoulder.

“Nervous?” My hair flutters as Dima speaks in my ear, his warm breath tickling my cheek.

“Yeah.”

He wraps an arm around my waist, squeezing me quickly before letting go. He hasn’t looked me in the eye since what happened in the bathroom, and my stomach churns harder when he turns away again now. Dima takes a vodka from Max, muttering his thanks before tipping the glass back.

His throat bobs as he swallows.

I stare at him, feeling lost.

What if I’ve already screwed this up? What if tonight hurts him—or one of the others? What if—

“You’re thinking a mile a minute, sweetheart.” Max comes to stand beside me, frowning behind his glasses. He looks so handsome in his white shirt and black tie—they all do. I should write uncle Torin a thank you note for their uniform, if nothing else.
